SaM146 certified!

On June 23, 2010, the SaM146 engine received its Type Certificate from the European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA), a milestone that signals the end of development and shows that the SaM146 is ready for commercial service.

During the final series of certification tests in 2010, in particular endurance, fan blade out and medium bird ingestion, the SaM146 confirmed its exemplary reliability and optimum performance, even under the most extreme conditions.
